1. Booking and Payment
1.1. Reservation Confirmation: To secure your spot at the Visionary Retreat, full payment is required.
1.2. Payment: Failure to pay the full amount may result in the cancellation of your reservation.
1.3. Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made 90 days or more before the retreat will receive a full refund of the total payment.
Cancellations made within 90 days of the retreat will not be refunded.
2. Participant Responsibilities
2.1. Responsibilities: The retreat organisers is not responsible for any losses, damage, death, medical expenses, injuries, or claims whatsoever arising from, connected with, or related to any activities engaged in by guests while on a Siloina cruise at sea or in any port of call. This includes all shore excursions and transfers. Guests engage in all activities aboard or off the boat at their own risk. Siloina Surf Charter nor Visionary Retreat is not responsible for any interruptions caused by flight delays, loss/late arrival of surfboards or luggage, broken surf equipment, cancellations, or any other travel arrangements made by external parties in conjunction with your booked trip.
2.2. Onboard Rules: Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner towards fellow passengers, crew members, and the environment. Any behavior deemed disruptive or unsafe by the captain may result in removal from the vessel without refund.
We want all our participants to feel comfortable and free in their personal expression. So please feel free to wear your swimwear, sunbath, dress up for dinner etc. As Indonesia has a conservative, we do ask our guests to please be respectful with what our crew is comfortable with. Topless suntanning, nudity or publicly displaying sexual behaviour whilst on deck, any display of anything
considered pornographic is not tolerated. The use or possession of illegal substances is strictly prohibited aboard Siloina Surf Charter. The captain reserves the right to remove any passengers found endangering the well-being and safety of the vessel, its passengers, or crew, in accordance with Maritime and Indonesian Law. Onboard has a fully stocked bar and are happy to serve you from our broad selection of onboard drinks. For anyone wanting to bring your own alcohol beverage onboard Siloina, the personal limit is 1 bottle of spirits OR 3 bottles of wine per guest. For any bottle you bring onboard, a corkage fee of USD15,- per bottle of spirit/wine applies.
2.3. Health and Well-being: Participants are responsible for their own health and well-being during the retreat. It is recommended that participants consult with a healthcare provider before attending, especially if they have any medical conditions.
2.4. Behavior: Participants are expected to maintain a respectful and positive attitude towards fellow attendees, staff, and the environment. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the retreat without a refund.
2.5. Insurance: Participants are advised to have personal travel insurance that covers medical expenses, trip cancellation, personal liability, travel delays, and interruptions. The retreat organisers are not liable for any personal injuries, losses, or damages.
2.6. Visa Requirements: Obtaining any necessary visas or travel documents is the sole responsibility of the participant. The organisers are not responsible for any issues related to visa applications, including delays or denials. No refunds will be provided if a participant is unable to attend the retreat due to visa issues.
2.7. Travel Delays: Participants are responsible for their travel arrangements to and from the retreat. The organisers are not liable for any delays, missed flights, or other travel disruptions. Participants are encouraged to plan their travel to allow ample time for unexpected delays. No refunds or compensation will be provided for missed portions of the retreat due to travel delays.
2.8. Early Departure: If a participant needs to cut their holiday short due to personal, professional, or any other reasons, no refunds will be provided for the unused portion of the retreat. Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel in case of early departure.
2.9. Name Changes and Transfer of Booking:
If a participant is unable to attend, they may request a transfer of their booking to another person. This request must be made in writing at least 7 days before the start of the retreat.
An administrative fee may apply to process the name change or transfer.
The new participant must meet all eligibility requirements for the retreat and agree to these terms and conditions.
The organisers reserve the right to refuse a transfer if it cannot be accommodated due to logistical reasons.#
3. Special Requests
3.1. Dietary Requirements: Participants with specific dietary requirements or food allergies must inform the organisers at the time of booking. While the organisers will make every effort to accommodate dietary needs, they cannot guarantee that all requests will be fulfilled. Participants with severe allergies should take necessary precautions and are encouraged to bring their own food if needed.
3.2. Health Issues: Participants with existing medical conditions or health issues must disclose this information to the organisers at the time of booking. This is to ensure that appropriate accommodations can be made and that the retreat environment is safe for all participants. The organizers will maintain confidentiality regarding any health-related information provided.
3.3. Accessibility Needs: Participants requiring special assistance or accommodations for mobility or other accessibility needs should notify the organisers at the time of booking. The organisers will strive to meet these needs but cannot guarantee that all requests will be accommodated, depending on the retreat location and resources.
3.4. Changes to Requests: Any changes to special requests must be communicated to the organisers as soon as possible, and no later than 7 days before the retreat start date. While the organisers will do their best to adjust for any changes, they cannot guarantee that last-minute requests will be fulfilled.
4. Retreat Program
4.1. Schedule and Content: The retreat schedule and content are subject to change. The organisers reserve the right to make alterations as necessary to ensure the best experience for all participants.
4.2. Activities: Participation in all activities is voluntary. Participants assume full responsibility for their choices and actions during all retreat activities.
5. Venue and Accommodation
5.1. Accommodation: Accommodation details, including room assignments, are provided upon arrival. Requests for specific accommodations will be considered but cannot be guaranteed.
5.2. Property Damage: Participants are responsible for any damage they cause to the retreat venue or property. Any damages must be reported immediately, and participants may be liable for repair or replacement costs.
6. Changes by Suppliers and/or Principal
6.1. Supplier/Principal Changes: The organisers reserve the right to make changes to the retreat, including but not limited to the venue, accommodation, activities, or other services provided, in response to changes made by suppliers or the principal.
6.2. Notification: Participants will be notified of any significant changes as soon as possible. In the event of a major change, such as a change in location or significant alteration of the program, participants will have the option to:
Accept the changes,
Transfer to another retreat if available, or
Cancel the booking and receive a full refund.
6.3. Minor Changes: Minor changes that do not significantly affect the retreat experience (e.g., slight modifications to the schedule or substitution of activities) do not entitle participants to a refund.
7. Liability
7.1. Force Majeure (Events Beyond Our Control): The organisers are not liable for any failure to perform their obligations under these terms and conditions if such failure is caused by events beyond their reasonable control. These events include, but are not limited to:
Natural disasters (e.g., earthquakes, floods, hurricanes)
Acts of terrorism or war
Government actions, travel bans, or restrictions
Pandemics, epidemics, or public health emergencies
Strikes, lockouts, or other labor disputes
Power outages, transportation delays, or other interruptions in essential services
In the event of a force majeure, the organisers will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the retreat or provide alternative arrangements. However, no refunds will be provided due to force majeure events.
7.2. Indemnity: By attending the retreat, participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the retreat organisers from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of their participation.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
8.1. Personal Data: The organisers will collect and process participants' personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Personal data will be used only for the purposes of administering the retreat and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
9. Photography
9.1. Consent to Use of Images: By participating in the retreat, participants grant the organisers and their representatives permission to take photographs and videos of them during the retreat. These images may be used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, and marketing materials.
9.2. Opt-Out: Participants who do not wish to be photographed or recorded should inform the organisers in writing prior to the retreat or at the start of the retreat.
10. Surf Coaching
10.1. Skill Level: It is your responsibility to ensure you have a suitable level
of fitness to undertake your surf trip. The retreat organisers and surf coaches are not responsible for any accidents or injuries resulting from lack of experience or failure to follow safety instructions.
10.2. Weather Conditions: Surfing activities are subject to weather and ocean conditions. The organisers reserve the right to cancel or modify surf coaching sessions based on safety considerations.
10.3. Equipment: Surfboards and other necessary equipment may be provided at participants cost. Participants are responsible for the care of the equipment and will be liable for any damage or loss.
11. Mindset Coaching
11.1. Personal Growth: Mindset coaching sessions are designed to support personal development and are not a substitute for professional psychological or medical treatment. Participants are encouraged to seek professional help if they have specific mental health concerns.
11.2. Confidentiality: Mindset coaching sessions are confidential. However, participants should be aware that the retreat organisers are not responsible for any outcomes resulting from the coaching sessions.
11.3. Voluntary Participation: Participation in mindset coaching sessions is voluntary. Participants may choose to opt-out of sessions without affecting their overall retreat experience.
12. Governing Law
12.1. Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Insert Jurisdiction]. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Insert Jurisdiction].
13. Amendments
